El delantero firma por las próximas cinco temporadas, hasta 2030, tras el acuerdo alcanzado con el Nápoles para el traspaso por un montante de 21 millones más cuatro en variables de fácil cumplimiento.
Precisamente la flexibilidad en la forma de pago, que fue la razón por la que el fichaje de Enzo Millot se fue al traste (el Sttutgart exigía los 23 kilos de su cláusula al contado), llevó al Atlético a centrar su objetivo en el internacional italiano, que figuraba a continuación en la agenda de Carlos Bucero. Así, el entendimiento con el Nápoles no se haría esperar, por más que en un principio tasaba en 30 millones a su delantero.
Por su parte, Raspadori no tendría ninguna duda desde que recibió la llamada del Atlético, dando su visto bueno a una operación que se acabaría encontrando a mitad de camino de las pretensiones de unos y otros, pues la intención en el Metropolitano pasaba por ofrecer 20 millones. Así, en función del rendimiento del futbolista, podría llegar hasta los 25.
Una hoja de servicios interesante
Pese a no tratarse de un 9 al uso ni de un delantero con unas cifras anotadoras mareantes, Raspadori llega al Atlético con una hoja de servicios que refleja su jerarquía pese a contar únicamente con 25 años. Así, en tres años en Nápoles ha levantado dos Scudettos, a los que ha contribuido con su movilidad en el frente del ataque y sus goles. Del mismo modo, tiene en su palmarés una Eurocopa tras 40 presencias con Italia. Una carta de presentación que invita a pensar en que ayudará a dar un salto de nivel a la delantera rojiblanca.
