Após o heroico triunfo do Bahia sobre o Ceará, pela semifinal da Copa do Nordeste, Rogério Ceni conversou com a imprensa. Assim, o técnico tricolor comentou sobre a presença do volante Jean Lucas na pré-lista de convocados da seleção. Bem como, celebrou o fato de que Carlo Ancelotti vai à Arena Fonte Nova observar seu atleta neste domingo (24).

Rogério Ceni fala sobre Jean Lucas na seleção

É a primeira vez em muitos anos que um jogador do Bahia aparece em pauta na seleção brasileira. Trata-se de Jean Lucas, peça fundamental desse time de Rogério Ceni, 4º colocado no Brasileirão. O volante tem 15 gols com a camisa tricolor, o triplo do que fez antes de chegar ao clube. Portanto, para aproveitar essa fase dele, Ancelotti o colocou na pré-lista, e vai olhar de perto na partida contra o Santos, neste domingo.

“Primeiro destacar que o Ancelotti vem assistir ao jogo aqui no próximo fim de semana. E eu acho que é uma coisa extremamente positiva para nós termos o treinador da seleção brasileira aqui. Então, é um privilégio para nós poder ter um cara tão vitorioso como ele assistindo a um jogo do Bahia”, comemorou Rogério Ceni.

Além disso, Rogério Ceni deu sua opinião sobre uma possível convocação de Jean Lucas, e destacou o merecimento do atleta. Ainda falou que o volante de 27 anos tem tudo para retornar ao futebol europeu, onde já jogou por Lyon, Monaco e Brest.

“Eu não sei de pré-lista, não tenho acompanhado, mas se ele [Jean Lucas] for convocado é mais do que merecido. É um jogador de muita força, tem tudo para jogar no futebol europeu de novo, e é muito provável que isso aconteça daqui a um ano ou dois. Ele tem todas as características, todos os predicados, que um jogador que joga na Europa tem”, opinou Ceni.

Juntando suas últimas informações para divulgar a convocação da seleção brasileira no próximo dia 26, Carlo Ancelotti vai visitar a Fonte Nova no domingo (24). Assim, ele vai assistir à partida entre Bahia x Santos, pelo Brasileirão.
