Justiça argentina liberta torcedores chilenos após violenta briga em Independiente x Universidad de Chile

A justiça argentina libertou nesta sexta-feira mais de uma centena de chilenos detidos após os violentos confrontos com torcedores argentinos durante uma partida da Copa Sul-Americana, realizada na última quarta-feira.

Torcedores do Independiente e da Universidad de Chile se atacaram com facas, paus e bombas de efeito sonoro dentro do estádio, em uma verdadeira batalha campal que deixou 19 feridos, dois deles em estado grave.

Segundo documento judicial acessado pela AFP, a ordem de liberação foi emitida à meia-noite de quinta-feira e incluiu os 104 chilenos presos. Eles poderão voltar imediatamente ao Chile, conforme informou uma fonte do consulado chileno em Buenos Aires.

O presidente do Chile, Gabriel Boric, que enviou seu ministro do Interior a Buenos Aires para acompanhar o caso, também confirmou a libertação dos cidadãos chilenos por meio da rede X.

“Seguiremos trabalhando para erradicar a violência nos estádios e, ao mesmo tempo, defendendo os direitos de nossos compatriotas”, declarou.

O confronto aconteceu durante a partida de oitavas de final entre o Independiente e a Universidad de Chile, em Avellaneda, no sul de Buenos Aires. O jogo foi cancelado aos dois minutos do segundo tempo.

A Conmebol informou que encaminhará relatórios à Comissão Disciplinar para possíveis sanções.

O ministro do Interior chileno, Álvaro Elizalde, visitou nesta sexta-feira os feridos que permanecem internados no Hospital Fiorito, em Avellaneda. Um dos casos mais graves é o de um torcedor chileno que sofreu traumatismo craniano ao se jogar da arquibancada, tentando escapar dos torcedores do Independiente. Um telhado amorteceu sua queda e salvou sua vida, segundo uma autoridade chilena.

De acordo com relatos, a polícia teria abandonado os torcedores chilenos. “Eles mesmos abriram as portas para que a barra do Independiente entrasse no túnel e viesse nos agredir”, denunciou Tomás González, um torcedor chileno, ao retornar a Santiago.

O estádio do Independiente foi interditado até a conclusão das perícias determinadas pela Justiça. “O promotor pediu o fechamento porque há manchas de sangue nas arquibancadas e ainda faltam exames periciais”, informou o ministro da Segurança de Buenos Aires, Javier Alonso, à Rádio10.

As arquibancadas ainda exibem vestígios da violência: projéteis, pedras, cadeiras arrancadas, ferros, pedaços de alvenaria dos banheiros — de onde até vasos sanitários foram retirados e arremessados.

“Ontem houve um trabalho muito importante de identificação. Existem cerca de vinte processos judiciais em andamento”, afirmou Alonso, sem dar mais detalhes. O ministro também criticou a falta de segurança, responsabilizando a organização da partida: “Havia uma empresa contratada que deveria estar presente e não estava. O coordenador da Conmebol foi avisado três vezes sobre a necessidade de suspender o jogo e não quis”.

O presidente Boric classificou como “inaceitável linchamento de chilenos” e reforçou que o Chile protegerá os direitos de seus cidadãos, sem prejuízo da apuração judicial.

Punições exemplares

Já o presidente da FIFA, Gianni Infantino, exigiu “punições exemplares” para punir os atos de violência que mancharam o futebol sul-americano.

O caos começou quando torcedores chilenos passaram a lançar paus, garrafas, cadeiras e até vasos sanitários da arquibancada superior sobre os torcedores do Independiente, que estavam na parte inferior, segundo relato de um jornalista da AFP.

“Eles arrancavam os objetos do banheiro e os arremessavam na arquibancada, foi uma violência sem precedentes”, denunciou Néstor Grindetti, presidente do Independiente.

O ministro da Segurança de Buenos Aires reiterou que protocolos foram descumpridos e que a segurança privada falhou ao não intervir nos primeiros incidentes.

O Independiente, por sua vez, negou falhas na organização e declarou ter colocado em prática um esquema que atendia a todas as normas vigentes.

Os incidentes ocorreram quando a partida estava empatada em 1 a 1. No jogo de ida, no Chile, a Universidad de Chile havia vencido por 1 a 0.
