O Corinthians conseguiu um excelente resultado ao derrotar o Athletico-PR, por 1 a 0, no jogo de ida das quartas de final da Copa do Brasil, ontem (27), na Ligga Arena, em Curitiba, mas a classificação à próxima fase ainda não tem nada de garantida, na visão do jornalista Milton Neves. Segundo ele, o Furacão deu mostras de que segue muito vivo e que pode aprontar na Neo Química Arena.
Em texto publicado no UOL Esporte, o apresentador esportivo destacou que a vantagem de poder jogar pelo empate no jogo de voltas, marcado para o próximo dia 10 de setembro (quarta-feira), na Neo Química Arena, não pode ser considerada como impossível de ser anulada pelo time paranaense, que ainda pode “aprontar”.
“No fim, o Corinthians volta para casa com uma vantagem preciosa. Vantagem que permite jogar pelo empate na Neo Química Arena, que certamente estará lotada e pulsante no jogo da volta. Mas que ninguém se engane: o Furacão não está morto. O time paranaense empurrou o Timão para trás em vários momentos, criou chances e segue com vida para tentar aprontar em Itaquera”, indicou Milton Neves.

Na visão do jornalista, o criticado técnico Dorival Júnior voltou a mostrar por que conseguiu chegar recentemente ao comando da seleção brasileira. Segundo Milton Neves, a mudança tática promovida pelo treinador após o intervalo foi essencial para a vitória do Corinthians na partida de ida das quartas de final da Copa do Brasil.
“E aqui vai um registro obrigatório: Dorival Júnior, mais uma vez, mostrou por que é um técnico diferenciado. No segundo tempo, mexeu no time, armou o Corinthians com três zagueiros, liberou os laterais e foi justamente nessa ousadia que nasceu o gol”, escreveu o jornalista, explicando o lance em seguida do gol marcado pelo jovem centroavante Gui Negão.
“Matheuzinho avançou pela direita, cruzou com categoria e encontrou Gui Negão para estufar as redes. Jogada de manual: treinador que enxerga, lateral que executa e atacante que define”, concluiu Milton Neves, antes de alertar: “Mas, como sempre na Copa do Brasil, o jogo de volta pode ser muito perigoso ainda.”

Sem muito tempo para comemorar o ótimo resultado na ida das quartas de final da Copa do Brasil contra o Athletico-PR, o elenco do Corinthians já volta para São Paulo onde neste domingo (31) tem nada menos que o clássico contra o arquirrival Palmeiras, pela 22ª rodada do Brasileirão. O Dérbi será disputado na Neo Química Arena e a bola rola a partir das 18h30 (de Brasília).
