Quando as previsões apontavam para uma vitória até possivelmente tranquila do Flamengo, a realidade do jogo diante do Grêmio acabou sendo bem outra neste domingo. Com organização, aplicação tática e entrega, o time de Mano Menezes se superou no Maracanã e foi buscar um empate em 1×1 contra o líder do campeonato dentro da casa do adversário.
Mano Menezes, aliás, manteve a sua fama de ser uma “pedra no sapato” para o técnico rubro-negro Filipe Luís, em um breve levantamento feito pelo jornalista e comentarista Eric Faria no programa “Fechamento SporTV” na repercussão da rodada do Brasileirão:
“É inegável que o Mano Menezes é a kriptonita do Filipe Luís. Porque a última derrota do Flamengo no Maracanã para times do Brasil tinha sido do Fluminense do Mano, em uma fase que o Flu brigava para não cair. Depois, nas finais do estadual, o Fla ganhou uma e empatou outra. E agora empatou de novo. O Mano Menezes consegue, de algum jeito, amarrar o Filipe Luís. Ele oferece dificuldades para o Filipe”, apontou Erick.
Mano Menezes evitou estudar o jogo anterior do Flamengo
Em coletiva de imprensa concedida depois da partida, Mano Menezes revelou não ter estudado de forma específica o jogo anterior do Flamengo, que terminou com vitória de 8×0 para cima do Vitória, no Maracanã. Para o treinador gremista, este confronto foi apenas uma exceção em função do placar inesperado:
“Goleada de 8×0 você não analisa. Você não pode analisar a exceção das exceções. Aí você nem vem, já fica lá. Como o gaúcho que gravou uma mensagem dizendo para eu ir para a Expointer e nem vir ao jogo. Você analisa o Flamengo da temporada, dos últimos jogos”, afirmou Mano, que acrescentou:
“A gente leva esse ponto, vamos saber valorizar ele bem, por conta do momento, de tudo que está acontecendo. Que esse ponto seja algo motivador para a gente nas próximas rodadas, em que teremos a volta de jogadores que estão fora”, acrescentou.
Grêmio ganha posição na tabela do Brasileirão
O importante e até surpreendente ponto conquistado no Maracanã fez o Grêmio subir uma posição na tabela, passando ao 13° lugar com 25 pontos. Agora, haverá parada de duas semanas pela Data-Fifa e depois o Tricolor, na provável reestreia do volante Arthur, vai receber o Mirassol no sábado, dia 13, a partir das 16h.
