La Agrupación de Peñas del Villarreal muestra su apoyo al partido en Miami

La Agrupación de Peñas del Villarreal mostró el pasado jueves, 25 de septiembre, su apoyo al partido que el cuadro amarillo quiere disputar contra el Barcelona en Miami a través de una carta dirigida a su presidente, Fernando Roig, y a la que ha tenido acceso MARCA.

Las Peñas hacen hincapié en el beneficio que puede tener para el club amarillo expandir su marca en Estados Unidos y hablan de “una oportunidd que contribuye a la proyección internacional, expansión y consolidación de la marca Villarreal CF”. De igual manera se muestran de acuerdo en las contraprestaciones que tendrá la afición y que ya anunció Fernando Roig el pasado mes de agosto: todos aquellos socios que quieran ir, lo harán gratis.

La carta dice lo siguiente:

Estimado Presidente:

La Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF, entidad que agrupa desde hace 27 años las diferentes peñas del Villarreal CF, ha tenido conocimiento de la disputa el próximo 21 de diciembre del partido de fútbol de LaLiga EA Sports entre el Villarreal CF y el FC Barcelona.

A través de diferentes reuniones con el club, y de las manifestaciones que desde el propio club se han difundido, hemos podido conocer las contraprestaciones que para los abonados del club y peñistas se han preparado y el impacto que para un club como el Villarreal CF, a sus patrocinadores del mundo de la cerámica, a las diferentes academias que el Villarreal CF tienen en USA y en la zona de Florida, y los peñistas y seguidores del Villarreal CF puede suponer el jugar un partido en el que nuestro club volverá a hacer historia.

Mediante este escrito, la Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF, quiere trasladarle su apoyo a la iniciativa promovida por el Villarreal CF y el FC Barcelona para celebrar un partidos en Estados Unidos.

Nuestra entidad considera que el proyecto en el país norteamericano puede beneficiar tanto al conjunto de los Clubes y jugadores como a la propia competición a nivel de repercusión internacional y mediática.

Nos planteamos esta iniciativa como una oportunidad para ofrecer, tal y como les hemos expresado a nuestra masa social, la posibilidad de desplazarse a EEUU y asistir al partido en condiciones ventajosas.

En conclusión, consideramos que esta propuesta es una oportunidad que contribuye a la proyección internacional, expansión y consolidación de la marca VIllarreal CF, de sus patrocinadores, de la ciudad y de los aficionados y peñistas de nuestro club, especialmente en un país de alto valor estratégico como es Estados Unidos, tanto para el Villarreal CF como para la Agrupació de Penyes del Villarreal CF”.

Controversia por el partido

La posibilidad de disputar en Miami el partido de la jornada 17 entre Villarreal y Barcelona, el próximo 20 de diciembre, ha suscitado disparidad de opiniones. Los clubes están de acuerdo, la RFEF dio su visto bueno y Javier Tebas cumpliría uno de sus anhelos desde hace años, pero por otro lado, el sindicato de futbolistas, AFE, con David Aganzo a la cabeza, solicita más información, y algún club como el Real Madrid se ha posicionado en contra porque cree que no respeta el principio de igualdad (el Barcelona se saltaría la visita a La Cerámica, uno de los estadios más complicados de LaLiga).

​El pasado 11 de septiembre, la UEFA no se posicionó sobre el partido. Parecía que iba a dar su OK, pero no lo hizo -tampoco lo echó para atrás-. El máximo organismo del fútbol continental emplazó a todas las partes a hablar y realizará una serie de consultas.

​La decisión final no debería demorarse en demasía porque, según explicó Javier Tebas en el Expansión & Marca Business Sport Forum, hay muchos asuntos que organizar. “Esperemos una decisión lo más breve posible porque hay que hacer un trabajo por todo Estados Unidos para hacer crecer nuestro valor”, apuntó.
