  • D.K. Metcalf explodes in Week 4: Metcalf averaged a staggering 5.73 yards per route run, highlighted by an 80-yard touchdown on a slant. The dominant outing earned him a 90.9 PFF receiving grade, the third-highest among wide receivers in Week 4 and his best since Week 8 of the 2020 season.
  • Micah Parsons’ return to Dallas was one for the ages: The All-Pro edge rusher erupted against his former team, recording 10 pressures off a 33.0% pass-rush win rate, including a huge sack in overtime to keep the Cowboys out of the end zone.

Seattle Seahawks 23, Arizona Cardinals 20

Performances like this one from Ernest Jones show exactly why the Seahawks traded for and extended him. The veteran linebacker earned a season-high 87.1 PFF defensive grade, showcasing his impact both against the run and in coverage. Jones recorded three coverage stops and added a tackle for no gain in the run game.

Pittsburgh Steelers 24, Minnesota Vikings 21

After a modest start to the season, Metcalf exploded in Week 4. He averaged a staggering 5.73 yards per route run, highlighted by an 80-yard touchdown on a slant. The dominant outing earned him a 90.9 PFF receiving grade, the third-highest among wide receivers in Week 4 and his best since Week 8 of the 2020 season.

Houston Texans 26, Tennessee Titans 0

Amid the Texans’ struggles with running back depth, rookie Woody Marks stepped up in a big way in Week 4, showcasing his all-around skill set. He earned a season-high 76.7 overall PFF grade, with marks above 71.0 in all three key phases: 71.8 as a runner, 79.2 as a receiver and 83.5 as a pass blocker.

New England Patriots 42, Carolina Panthers 13

Stefon Diggs has found his footing in the Patriots’ receiving corps, and he delivered his best performance of the season in Week 4. The veteran recorded his first 100-yard game of the year, highlighted by three explosive receptions—earning a team-high 83.6 PFF receiving grade.

Detroit Lions 34, Cleveland Browns 10

While the Browns’ defense vs. the Lions’ offense was the headline matchup, it was Detroit’s defense that stole the show. Aidan Hutchinson led the charge with a dominant performance, earning a 94.2 PFF pass-rush grade. He recorded seven total pressures, including two sacks — one of which was a fourth-quarter strip of Joe Flacco.

Atlanta Falcons 34, Washington Commanders 27

The Falcons’ passing attack was firing on all cylinders against the Commanders. Led by Michael Penix Jr. and his 81.8 PFF passing grade, Atlanta generated the second-most EPA per pass through Sunday. Three Falcons — Drake London (91.1), Bijan Robinson (83.2) and Kyle Pitts (83.5) — ranked among the top eight in PFF receiving grades for the week.

Buffalo Bills 31, New Orleans Saints 19

James Cook has been on fire through the first month of the season. In Sunday’s game against the Saints, he recorded his third straight 100-yard performance, averaging 5.3 yards per carry and forcing six missed tackles. His 86.5 PFF rushing grade led all qualifying running backs through Sunday.

New York Giants 21, Los Angeles Chargers 18

It’s taken some time for first-round pick Abdul Carter to arrive, but he did just that this week. The rookie posted his best pass-rushing performance of the season, earning a 92.1 PFF overall grade. While he didn’t record a sack, he notched five quarterback hits, making life hard on Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.

Philadelphia Eagles 31, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 25

After a hot-and-cold start to the season, second-year cornerback Quinyon Mitchell was lights-out this week. Mitchell locked down the Buccaneers’ receivers, allowing just a pair of receptions and 6 yards on nine coverage targets. He racked up five forced incompletions and let up a 39.6 passer rating into his coverage, resulting in an 88.9 PFF coverage grade.

Los Angeles Rams 27, Indianapolis Colts 20

The Rams’ coverage unit baited Daniel Jones into several suspect throws in Week 4, led by Kamren Curl. He earned a stellar 93.9 PFF overall grade while menacingly roaming the back end, tallying a pair of interceptions, including one that slammed the door shut on a late Colts comeback.

Jacksonville Jaguars 26, San Francisco 49ers 21

The Jaguars continue to produce takeaways at a staggering rate, with their 13 turnovers forced this season pacing the NFL by a wide margin. This week, it was linebacker Devin Lloyd leading the charge with an 87.6 PFF overall grade. Lloyd made plays in all three facets of the game, recording a pair of run stops, a quarterback hit and two interceptions.

Kansas City Chiefs 37, Baltimore Ravens 20

Wide receiver Xavier Worthy’s return to the lineup got the Chiefs‘ offense back on track after some struggles to start the year. Worthy led the team in targets (eight) and hauled in five catches for 83 yards, including a pair of explosive receptions, earning a strong 78.5 PFF receiving grade.

Chicago Bears 25, Las Vegas Raiders 24

Although it came in a losing effort, Raiders edge defender Maxx Crosby put on a show. The veteran earned an impressive 91.5 PFF overall grade, thanks to a mix of all-around strong play and highlight-reel moments. Crosby may not have recorded a sack, but he was highly impactful against the pass. He batted down three passes, including one he tipped to himself for an interception.

Green Bay Packers 40, Dallas Cowboys 40

Micah Parsons’ return to Dallas was one for the ages. The All-Pro edge rusher erupted against his former team, recording 10 pressures off a 33.0% pass-rush win rate, including a huge sack in overtime to keep the Cowboys out of the end zone. That performance warranted a 94.3 PFF pass-rush grade, the highest single-game PFF pass-rush grade by any player with 20 or more pass-rush snaps this season.
