ThSV Eisenach
Die Füchse Berlin feiern ihren vierten Pflichtspielsieg in Serie. Der deutsche Meister hat in der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga gegen den ThSV Eisenach mit 35:23 (19:13) keine Mühe. Zwischen den 8509 Zuschauern in der Max-Schmeling-Halle sitzt an diesem Tag ein ganz besonderer Fan.
Thomas Gröndahl, Papa und der erste Trainer von Füchse-Neuzugang Tobias (24) hat dazu gleich 16 Familienmitglieder (inklusive Bruder, Opa) und Freunde aus Norwegen vom Heimat-Klub Vestre Bærum mitgebracht. Sie alle feuern auf der Tribüne mit auffälligen Regenschirm-Hüten (darauf die norwegische Flagge) ihren Tobias an.

Papa Thomas verrät SPORT BILD: „Ich bin seit Sonnabend da und bleibe noch bis zum Pokalspiel gegen Wetzlar am Mittwoch, da fahre ich mit dem Auto hin. Insgesamt habe ich jetzt schon drei Spiele live gesehen, seit Tobias bei den Füchsen ist.“
Und Thomas schiebt nach: „Ich bin sein größter Fan und unheimlich stolz darauf, dass Tobias jetzt bei so einem Welt-Klub wie den Füchsen spielt. Das ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Ich bin inzwischen auch ein Riesenanhänger des ganzen Vereins.“

Insgesamt kann die Gröndahl-Family gegen Eisenach vier Tore von Tobias bewundern. Handball gehört bei den Gröndahls zum Leben, wie die Currywurst zu Berlin. Vater, Mutter, Bruder und auch der Füchse-Star selbst, sie alle tragen beim Handballspielen die Rückennummer 15.
Gröndahl wechselte von GOG zu den Füchsen Berlin und ist einer der teuersten Transfers aus der dänischen Liga. Die Ablösesumme betrug laut dänischem Sender TV 2 rund 250.000 Euro.

Nach dem Spiel amüsiert sich Tobias Gröndahl („Ich bin genau da, wo sich sein will. Bei einem der besten Klubs der Welt mit dem besten Spieler der Welt.“) über seine Familie und lacht über die Kopfbedeckung, sagt zu SPORT BILD: „Es ist unglaublich, so viele Leute aus der Heimat hier zu haben, die mich so unterstützen. Sie genießen die Atmosphäre in der Arena extrem. Und sie machen keine halben Sachen, sondern geben alles – vor allem mit den Schirmhüten.“

Gespielt wird (19 Uhr, Dyn) allerdings nicht in Berlin, sondern beim Kooperationspartner VfL Potsdam in der MBS-Arena.
