O jornalista Tiago Leifert deu um verdadeiro banho de água fria nos vascaínos durante uma livestream em seu canal no YouTube. Além da notável derrota por 3 a 0 para o Palmeiras na quarta-feira (1º), o Vasco ainda teve uma atuação pobre de seu grande craque Philippe Coutinho, que vê as chances de retornar à Seleção Brasileira ainda mais distantes.
Segundo Tiago Leifert, a possibilidade da volta do meio-campista ao time pentacampeão do mundo partiu dos próprios vascaínos. “Muitos de vocês estavam pedindo o Coutinho na Seleção Brasileira“, disse ele. “No segundo gol, o Gustavo Gómez engoliu o Coutinho (…) Foi constrangedor“, completou o jornalista, se referindo ao lance entre o jogador e o zagueiro do Palmeiras.
Ainda assim, muitos torcedores do Vasco pediram falta de Gómez em Philippe Coutinho, mas Tiago Leifert discorda. “Se você acha que foi falta, o Coutinho não tem a menor condição de ser convocado. Não vai aguentar o primeiro jogo da Copa do Mundo. Isso é futebol“, disparou ele.
Sonho de mais uma Copa para Coutinho está distante
Possivelmente o melhor jogador do Brasil na Copa de 2018, na Rússia, Philippe Coutinho não vem conseguindo desempenhar como nos tempos de Liverpool. No atual Brasileirão, já fez 20 partidas pelo Vasco, mas soma apenas cinco gols e duas assistências.
Pela Seleção, não esteve em nenhuma lista do treinador italiano Carlo Ancelotti até agora. Ele não aparece entre os convocados desde a preparação para a Copa de 2022, quando participou dos amistosos, mas perdeu a competição principal devido a uma lesão.
