Ja’Marr Chase, Bengals — Buying into the Joe Burrow-less Bengals’ offense might seem like insanity after the last two weeks with Jake Browning under center. But Chase is the one player in this attack whom I’m willing to make a deal to acquire based on how low the public perception has fallen after he failed to top 50 yards in two consecutive outings. While Cincinnati isn’t the same team without Burrow, we should account for their opponents the last two weeks being the Vikings and Broncos, who are two of the five toughest defenses for fantasy receivers and quarterbacks. Chase should have a little more breathing room against the Lions, before his schedule softens up considerably from Week 7 on. Expectations still need to be adjusted, but if you can acquire Chase for WR2 value, it’s worth the risk.

Sell

A.J. Brown, Eagles — The Eagles have thrown 24 pass attempts or less in three of their four games this season. Consequently, Brown has been held under 30 receiving yards in those contests. That’s the concern here. It’s not Brown’s talent dropping off, because we saw him go off against the Rams in Week 3. This is simply a volume issue, which will lead to a lack of motivation for Brown if he’s not getting the ball enough. The problem is that Philly is winning with this brand of football and doesn’t need to change anything. That’s why I’ve changed my approach on Brown and moved him down into the low-end WR2 range for the rest of the season. He’s going to be very boom or bust, with many more down weeks on the way.

Titans fire Brian Callahan: First NFL coach to be let go in 2025 season started Year 2 with abysmal 1-5 record

The Brian Callahan era in Nashville is over. The Tennessee Titans have fired their coach following a 1-5 start, the team announced on Monday. This decision comes following a 20-10 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. "These decisions are never easy, and they become more difficult when they involve people of great character," said Chad Brinker, the team's president of football operations, in a statement. "We are grateful for Brian's investment in the Titans and Tennessee community during his tenure as head coach. We thank him and his family for being exemplary ambassadors of the Tennessee Titans."While we are committed to a patient and strategic plan to build a sustainable, winning football program, we have not demonstrated sufficient growth. Our players, fans, and community deserve a football team that achieves a standard we are not currently meeting, and we […]

Dak Prescott pinpoints ‘frustrating’ late-game Cowboys struggles after loss to Panthers

There was no panic from Dak Prescott following Sunday's loss to the Panthers, but for the Dallas Cowboys to recover, they have to find an answer for how to close. With the game tied at 27, Dallas went three-and-out on a pivotal possession midway through the fourth quarter, giving the Carolina Panthers an opportunity for a walk-off victory. The Cowboys are 1-2-1 in games decided by a single possession, which includes the opening loss against the Philadelphia Eagles."I wouldn't say it's demoralizing, I'd definitely say it's frustrating," Prescott said. "Just even the last time we had the ball, that was not our best series of the game right there … at a crucial point like that, we just can't do that."Prescott threw three touchdown passes against Carolina, his last coming late in the third quarter on a 34-yarder to George Pickens that gave the […]
