Após o jogo disputado neste domingo (6), na Ilha do Retiro, em Recife (PE), o apresentador do SBT ironizou o treinador português, acostumado a reclamar da arbitragem e dar respostas às vezes grosseiras aos jornalistas nas entrevistas coletivas.
“Abel estava ‘light’ hoje na entrevista, hein… Por que será?”, questionou Benja, de forma irônica.
Com a vitória conquistada no Nordeste, o Palmeiras chegou aos quatro pontos em duas partidas disputadas no Campeonato Brasileiro, terminando a segunda rodada na sétima colocação.
O próximo duelo do time paulista na competição será o clássico contra o Corinthians, que está marcado para este sábado (12), às 18h30 (horário de Brasília), na Arena Barueri – o Allianz parque estará indisponível para o Dérbi.
Ironizado por Benja, Abel valoriza vitória
Após a partida, o treinador português elogiou o esforço de todo o grupo de jogadores para deixar Recife com os três pontos.
“Sabia que seria difícil pela empolgação e por conhecer o treinador do outro lado. Vitória arrancada com suor e não com 11, mas com os 23. É bom, dá confiança, procuramos a melhor dinâmica, trocar jogadores. A equipe precisa de outros lugares nos lugares que tem em falta. O grupo está unido, em um campeonato muito competitivo”, destacou o treinador do Palmeiras.
Segundo o treinador, o Sport tem um boa equipe e dará muito trabalho para outras equipes que visitarem a Ilha do Retiro.
“O futebol brasileiro não é para amadores. É difícil. Muito jogo, pouco treino e muita viagem. Jogamos com uma equipe super empolgada, muito bem treinada e que vinha de um sucesso há três quatro ou dias”, disse Abel Ferreira.
Libertadores antes do Dérbi
O Palmeiras não terá muito tempo para comemorar a vitória diante do Sport, pois já começa a se preparar para mais um duelo na Libertadores.
Nesta quarta-feira (9), o Verdão de Abel Ferreira recebe a visita do Cerro Porteño, do Paraguai, no Allianz Parque, às 21h30 (de Brasília), em duelo da segunda rodada do Grupo G.
