Weil der große Fußball-Kumpel aus derselben Stadt am selben Abend um den DFB-Pokal spielt, hat der TVB Stuttgart aus der Daikin Handball-Bundesliga ausgerechnet mit seinem Schwaben-Derby gegen die SG BBM Bietigheim ein Problem bekommen.
Sowohl das Finale im DFB-Pokal zwischen dem VfB Stuttgart und Arminia Bielefeld als auch das schwäbische Handball-Derby sind für den 24. Mai angesetzt, ursprünglich beinahe zeitgleich. Die Handballer haben nun auf die Dopplung reagiert.

Handball-Bundesligist muss Spiel verlegen
Das Pokal-Finale bei den Fußballern wird im Berliner Olympiastadion um 20 Uhr angepfiffen, das Handball-Derby war für 19 Uhr geplant. Jetzt nicht mehr, der TVB Stuttgart bittet Bietigheim bereits um 18 Uhr zum Tanz im Handball-Keller.
Damit wird eine zeitliche Überschneidung für jene Fans vermieden, die sowohl ein Herz für den Handball als auch für den Fußball haben. Und der TVB läuft damit weniger Gefahr, Publikum an die TV-Übertragung des DFB-Pokals zu verlieren.

A number of Premier League teams have contacted Nottingham Forest for more details about their legal victory over the FA after the club successfully claimed that an appeals panel decision had been biased against them, Sky Sports News has been told.The legal ruling is likely to earn Forest hundreds of thousands of pounds from the FA in compensation, after the barrister appointed to hear the club's appeal said in his formal summing up that Forest had made a "somewhat hysterical submission".
