Além do gol no Dérbi, o uruguaio também anotou nos jogos contra Sport (Brasileirão) e Sporting Cristal, Libertadores, ambos cobrando pênalti. Uma fase que contrasta com um momento recente vivido pelo jogador e que este quer esquecer, a lesão no joelho sofrida em 2024, que o tirou do restante daquela temporada.
