Diego Souza já antecipou o próximo treinador demitido do Brasileirão 2025. Para o ex-atacante, o técnico Gustavo Quinteros não vai permanecer no Grêmio caso haja um novo tropeço diante do Mirassol.
Depois de perder para o Flamengo dentro de casa, o Grêmio visita o Mirassol, nesta quarta-feira (16), às 19h (de Brasília). O Tricolor tem três pontos após a terceira rodada e vai pressionado contra os paulistas.
“Uma contratação dessas igual o Gustavo Quinteros, que eu não sei quanto pagaram nele, mas tem uma multa rescisória de 2 milhões de dólares. É uma aposta. Nunca trabalhou no Brasil, trouxe dez pessoas e agora está balançando. Se não cair do Mirassol é cerol. Não vai ver nem o coelho da Páscoa”, afirmou Diego Souza.
Diego Souza acredita em vitória do Grêmio
Apesar do momento não ser favorável, o ex-atacante palpitou na vitória do Tricolor Gaúcho. Para ele, o Mirassol também está pressionado, já que se encontra na zona de rebaixamento, e o time do Grêmio tem boas peças.
“O Mirassol também está pressionando, vai precisar se abrir dentro de casa e o Grêmio tem bons jogadores. Mirassol é favorito, mas o Grêmio precisa ganhar e acho que vai vencer de 1×0”, palpitou Diego Souza.

Gustavo Quinteros será demitido?
Logo após a derrota contra o Flamengo, a torcida Geral do Grêmio emitiu uma nota cobrando a demissão do treinador. Entretanto, a diretoria tricolor manteve o comandante no cargo.
Demitir Quinteros não é uma decisão barata. Isso porque o acordo prevê, em caso de rescisão, o pagamento de todos os salários até o final do contrato, que tem validade até o fim de 2025. Sendo assim, o Grêmio teria que desembolsar cerca de R$ 9,6 milhões.
