Ayesha Curry caused quite a stir on social media after recently uploading some sizzling pictures while on vacation.

There was plenty of reason to celebrate with Ayesha turning 36, and while Steph couldn’t be there due to his obligations with the Golden State Warriors, she was joined by Callie Currie.

Ayesha turned heads in a grey leopard-print bikini with bold red lipstick and her hair sleekly parted to the side.

Although he wasn’t there, Steph made sure to support his wife by leaving a heartfelt tribute for her on Instagram.

“Where do we begin to describe what you mean to me, our family, everyone who’s been blessed enough to get to know you… Love you, my woman. Bless up and happy birthday,” he wrote.

Fans have a lot to say about Ayesha’s photos

While Steph didn’t seem all that bothered by Ayesha posting pictures in a bikini, there were some fans who questioned if they were appropriate for a married woman.

“Married women posting thirst traps?” wrote one user, with another writing: Now she’s begging for attention-they do anything for clout.”

Another wrote: “Congrats… this is all you really wanted since the tabletop days with Jada.”

The last comment reference a 2019 appearance on Red Table Talk in which Ayesha admitted she felt insecure about the lack of male attention she received compared to Steph. She later told Insider in 2023 that the clip was manipulated to make her sound crazy.

Despite some of the recent criticism it doesn’t appear Ayesha is all that bothered as she celebrated her birthday with her loved ones. The fact she was confident enough to post those pictures to social media suggests she is embracing the limelight, as well as the detractors that might come with it.
