Según el wrestler, “fui a recoger a mis hijos temprano del colegio. Al llegar a casa, revisé el contestador automático y mi agente me decía en un mensaje: ‘Hogan, tengo una parrilla y una licuadora; ¿cuál quieres elegir? Llamaré a George y le preguntaré, ya que no estás en casa”. Ambos productos eran de la misma marca.
El campeón de la lucha libre telefoneó a su agente, que le informó de algo que en un principio no tenía por qué ser tan decisivo como luego acabó siendo. “¿Qué pasa con la parrilla y la licuadora?”, preguntó Hulk. “Y me respondió: ‘George eligió la parrilla porque no estabas en casa”.
