Er kam 2007 als Ersatz für Sebastian Deisler (heute 45) zum FC Bayern.
Doch für den Argentinier Jose Ernesto Sosa waren die großen Fußstapfen des DFB-Stars mindestens eine Nummer zu groß. In drei Spielzeiten brachte er es auf gerade einmal zwei Tore und vier Vorlagen in 53 Pflichtspielen.
Dabei war die Euphorie groß, als er mit 21 Jahren an der Säbener Straße auftauchte. Er war für 9 Mio. Euro von Estudiantes de la Plata gekommen, wurde mit einem Vierjahresvertrag ausgestattet.
Das Gehalt von „El Principito“ (der kleine Prinz) lag laut des damaligen Managers Uli Hoeneß (73) bei etwa einer Mio. Euro pro Saison.
Sosa sagte nach seiner Ankunft der „Münchner Abendzeitung“: „Ein Traum wird wahr für mich. Jeder Spieler der Welt träumt davon, einmal bei so einem Verein wie dem FC Bayern spielen zu dürfen. Ich hoffe, dass ich meine Zeit hier genießen werden kann.“
[–>Es kam anders. 2010 verabschiedete sich Sosa immerhin mit zwei Deutschen Meisterschaften und zwei DFB-Pokalsiegen in Richtung SSC Neapel. Es ging weiter zu Metalist Kharkiv in der Ukraine, wo er in zwei Jahren zum Leistungsträger aufstieg und 19 Tore beisteuerte.
Das rief Atlético Madrid auf den Plan. Mit „Los Colchoneros“ spielte er ein Champions League-Halbfinale und auch das Endspiel. Nach Zwischenstopps bei AC Mailand und den türkischen Klubs Besiktas und Fenerbahce kehrte Sosa 2022 in seine Heimat nach Argentinien zurück.

Dort spielt der 19-fache Nationalspieler bis heute in der ersten Liga, läuft für Estudiantes LP auf! Damit schloss sich auch der Karrierekreis für den „kleinen Prinzen“: In La Plata spielte er erstmals groß auf, wechselte von dort direkt zum Fußball-Giganten FC Bayern.

In der laufenden Spielzeit, die im Januar begann, kommt Sosa auf acht von zehn möglichen Liga-Einsätzen (ein Tor). Fünf davon in der Startelf. Ende der Saison läuft sein Vertrag aus – Sosa hat sich noch nicht enschieden, ob er weitermachen will.
