If you’re like me, you may have taken a couple of hits over the weekend betting on the NCAA Tournament. With the Final Four on the horizon, it’s time to boost your bankroll with a few NBA bets this week.
To that end, here are the picks for Monday’s NBA slate on March 31.
Kings (+185) vs. Pacers (-5.5)
The Kings are in dire need of a win to keep from sliding out of the play-in tournament, but with how they are playing, it doesn’t appear as if they’re too concerned about it. Not only have they dropped their last five road games, but they’ve also lost nine of their last 12.
Indiana, on the other hand, is playing like a team that really wants to hold onto the No. 4 spot in the Eastern Conference. The Pacers are coming off a loss to the Thunder but have won six of their last eight games.
After their shooters are done decimating the league’s worst perimeter defense tonight, they’ll have won seven of their last nine. Indiana will cover.
Our Pick: Pacers -5.5

Tyrese Haliburton, OVER 2.5 made 3-pointers (-166) or to make 4+ (+140)
He just hit seven of 10 attempts against Washington and four of nine against the Thunder. When the Pacers played the Kings in December, he hit four of nine. At home against the league’s worst perimeter defense, I like him to hit at least three, if not four or more.
Domantas Sabonis, OVER 12.5 rebounds (-120) or to record 14+ rebounds (+120)
We are talking about a rebounding machine here. Sabonis averages 14 per game and had 13, 19, 12 and 17 in his last four outings. Against the Pacers back in December, he pulled down 21—yes, 21.
I definitely like him to grab more than 12.5 and would seriously consider rolling the dice on 14 or more.

Celtics (-4.5) vs. Grizzlies (+154)
Memphis looked like a team destined for one of the top seeds in the Western Conference a couple of months ago. Now, the Grizzlies are in danger of sliding into the play-in tournament and have just fired their head coach.
Today, they host a Boston team that has won its last eight games and 13 of its last 14. The Celtics don’t need the win—they’re pretty entrenched as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. But they are playing way too well to lose to a spiraling Grizzlies team.
Our Pick: Celtics -4.5

Rockets (+154) vs. Lakers (-5)
These are two really good teams. While the Lakers have not looked the part in recent weeks (8-8 in March), you can never count out LeBron James and Luka Doncic. They’ve been solid at home this season, too (28-9).
As for the Rockets, they have won 12 of their last 13, including their last five road games. However, as well as they have been playing, the Lakers have a relatively healthy roster and are playing at home.
I wouldn’t be shocked if the Lakers won, but I think the Rockets will give them a good fight, win or lose.
Rockets +5
