Distintos medios de comunicación que cubren la actualidad de la Premier League han apuntado en las últimas horas que el City tiene en su agenda a Pedri, porque le considera el mejor relevo a Kevin De Bruyne, cuya continuidad en el bloque de Guardiola no está asegurada. Desde Inglaterra incluso hablan que el conjunto de Manchester está preparando una oferta de 100 millones por el de Tegueste. Pero ni en las oficinas del Spotify Camp Nou ni en las de la Ciudad Deportiva hay constancia oficial de ese presunto interés. Lo que, en todo caso, sí que comentan es que sería un acercamiento que no les sorprendería por el gran talento de su futbolista, que destaca tanto en el Barcelona como en la selección española de Luis de la Fuente. Entienden que es normal que los grandes de Europa le quieran en su plantilla.

Ahora, hay que ir a por todas y seguir ganando títulos. Firmar es lo más bonito que me ha pasado en mucho tiempo y estoy feliz por estar donde más quiero”, dijo. En el Barcelona se aferran a estas palabras para mantener su calma.
