One of the fights that generates the most anticipation this year is the fight between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez and Terence Crawford at the end of this year. There is no doubt that it will be a spectacle to see two of the best pound-for-pound fighters and this will generate a great audience.
Under this scenario, Crawford is expected to move up from 154 to 168 pounds to face the Mexican boxer who will first face William Scull on May 3, a fight where he will seek to become the undisputed super middleweight champion.

Crawford is given keys to beat “Canelo”
Many believe that it will be a major weight disadvantage for Terence Crawford, but others think it can work in his favor. Former IBF lightweight champion Mickey Bey does not believe that “Canelo’s” challenger should come into the fight too heavy.
In fact, he states that he can win by decision even if he comes in at a weight approaching 165 pounds, he told MillCity Boxing.
In my opinion, I wouldn’t come in heavy. I’d come in at 165 and at the same weight for the fight. 165 or 168. “Whatever he feels good at sparring multiple times, that’s what I’d come in at. 168-171, I’d stay within that range. That’s the only factor, him not being too slow. 165 and fight anywhere at the same weight. He’ll probably be 165 or 170 when he fights. He can make 160 very easy or 154, he can make.”
“So, he can come in at whatever, like Floyd at 154. With Crawford, when he’s in top shape, he’s probably going to be in the 160s in camp. So, he might as well stay there. In top shape, he’s probably going to be in the low to mid-160s. So, he ain’t going to have to do nothing. I got Crawford by decision.”, Bey continued.
Bey feels the same way that Crawoford shouldn’t rehydrate to get to 170 pounds because it might take away his speed.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the most dominant team of the decade, and the numbers prove it
The Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Yankees are like the rock stars of Major League Baseball (MLB), two teams with a history so big it's hard to top. Since moving from Brooklyn to LA in 1958, the Dodgers have been a force to reckon with, and now in 2025, they're gearing up for their 23rd World Series (26th pennants)-trailing only the Yankees' whopping 41 appearances, according to MLB.com. That's a pretty cool stat, showing they've been in the game for the long haul, racking up eight World Series wins, with their first coming back in 1955 as the Brooklyn Dodgers. Tonight, they're bringing that old-school vibe into a modern era, hitting their fifth World Series in the last nine years-all during the Wild Card era that kicked off in 1994, per ESPN. It's a sign they know how […]

4 Takeaways From the Dodgers’ NLCS Game 4 Win Over the Brewers
Another dominant pitching performance – and a three home run game – by the same superstar no less. That's certainly a way to earn a World Series berth. Behind a Shohei Ohtani performance for the ages, the Dodgers swept the Brewers in the National League Championship Series on Friday with a 5-1 win in Game 4 and are headed back to the World Series. Here are my takeaways:1. Oh My, Ohtani!A year ago, he became the first Major League Baseball player ever to hit 50 homers and steal 50 bases in a season. This year, he became the first player ever to hit 50 homers and record 50 strikeouts as a pitcher in a single season. With Shohei Ohtani, history is never far away. Friday night was no exception, as baseball’s unicorn illustrated what is quite possibly the most extraordinary single-game performance of […]
