Felipe Melo tem o seu preferido para ser o novo técnico da seleção brasileira. Depois de uma semana desde que Dorival Júnior foi comunicado da sua demissão, a CBF passou a analisar alguns nomes para o cargo e tem quatro entre os favoritos.
Na avaliação do ex-volante, Abel Ferreira seria a melhor alternativa pela proximidade com nosso futebol, por ter amplo conhecimento dos nossos jogadores e da cultura local.
“Eu sou muito fã do Abel. Acho que ele cairia como uma luva para a seleção brasileira. Eu gosto do trabalho do Jorge Jesus, mas o Abel está no Brasil e isso faz toda a diferença. Conhece o futebol brasileiro, os atletas, sabe como é a torcida, o povo brasileiro. Então, eu escolheria o Abel Ferreira”, disse Felipe Melo.
Como plano B, porém, o comentarista apostaria em um treinador brasileiro que tem sido muito elogiado desde a temporada passada pelo seu trabalho no Internacional: Roger Machado.
“Destes quatro, eu iria no Abel Ferreira ou no Roger Machado“, acrescentou Felipe Melo.

Nesta sexta-feira (3), André Rizek revelou no “Seleção Sportv” que todos os profissionais avaliados são estrangeiros. Além de Carlo Ancelotti, Jorge Jesus, Abel Ferreira e agora também José Mourinho estão na lista.
A princípio, porém, o favorito passou a ser o português que comandou o Flamengo em 2019. Apesar da preferência por Ancelotti, Ednaldo Rodrigues sabe que a dificuldade é muito maior por seu contrato vigente com o Real Madrid.
Segundo Rizek, a CBF trata o italiano como plano A, mas pela praticidade do processo torna Jesus o mais plausível no momento.
Palmeiras pode dificultar saída de Abel?
Leila Pereira, presidente do Palmeiras, já declarou publicamente que não gostaria de perder o seu treinador. Seu plano é ter Abel Ferreira durante todo o seu mandato, que terminará em 2027.
