Genau fünf Monate lang galten Hugo Ekitiké (22) und Omar Marmoush (26) als das Traum-Duo im internationalen Fußball. Nach SPORT-BILD-Informationen geht der Klub aktuell davon aus, dass der Poker um Ekitiké allerdings erst nach der Klub-WM (14. Juni bis 13. Juli) Fahrt aufnimmt. Weil die Ablösen für Stürmer oft höher ausfallen als für Spieler auf anderen Positionen, lassen sich die Vereine mit großen Investments mehr Zeit.

Euro verhandeln wollen. Mit der eingenommenen Kohle könnten die Königlichen bei Erling Haaland (24/Manchester City) Ernst machen.
