Die Chance, endlich einen Titel zu holen, ist für den Bayern-Star so groß wie vielleicht nie. In der Meisterschaft liegen die Münchner sechs Punkte vor Titelwärter Leverkusen. Auch in der Champions League ist noch alles drin.
Wichtig für das Erreichen der Ziele ist auch die Form von Jamal Musiala (22). Und mit der ist Kane sehr zufrieden. Im Gespräch mit der US-Zeitung „ESPN“ singt der englische Nationalspieler sogar ein Loblied auf den deutschen Nationalspieler.

Beim Rekordmeister sticht Musiala oft mit seiner Klasse heraus, spielt die Gegner schwindelig oder trifft selbst. In der laufenden Saison erzielte er 17 Treffer in 39 Pflichtspielen und steuerte obendrein noch sieben Torvorlagen bei. Meist steht er mit Top-Stürmer Kane gemeinsam auf dem Feld.

Trotz seiner hohen Trefferquote (33 Tore in 38 Spielen) wurde Kane in der Vergangenheit immer wieder kritisiert, wenn er mal nicht traf. Hierfür hat er allerdings wenig übrig.
„Es gibt eine Menge Leute da draußen, die über Fußball reden und Fußball kommentieren oder Sachen über Fußball machen, die nicht wirklich viel von Fußball verstehen. Ich weiß, dass es Spiele gegeben hat, in denen ich ein Tor geschossen und nicht gut gespielt habe und in denen ich so hoch gelobt wurde, und es gab Spiele, in denen ich kein Tor geschossen habe und einer der besten Spieler auf dem Platz war“, sagt Kane.
Darüberhinaus spricht er auch über die deutsche Sprache und über Ur-Bayer Thomas Müller (35/Vertrag läuft im Sommer aus), dessen Zukunft in den Sternen steht. Konkret geht es um Müllers Dialekt, der dem englischen Bayern-Stürmer offenbar leichte Probleme bereitet.
Der Angreifer über seine Deutsch-Kenntnisse: „Ich glaube, als Engländer bin ich ziemlich verwöhnt. Natürlich sprechen viele Menschen auf der ganzen Welt Englisch, aber es öffnet einem die Augen, wenn man eine neue Sprache lernt. Ich habe gehört, dass [Müllers] Deutsch ziemlich extrem und selbst für Deutsche ziemlich schwer zu verstehen ist. Vielleicht werde ich also zu jemand anderem gehen, der es mir ein wenig leichter macht, damit zu beginnen.“

Ein großes Ziel hat das Trio – Kane, Musiala und Müller – in dieser Saison noch: den Gewinn des Henkelpotts Dahoam. Nach 12 Jahren findet das Champions-League-Finale am 31. Mai wieder in München in der Allianz Arena statt.
Kane dazu: „Der Gewinn der Champions League ist schon fast mein ganzes Leben lang ein Traum. Und wir haben dieses Jahr die Möglichkeit, das zu tun. Aber es zu Hause vor unseren Fans in der Allianz Arena zu tun, würde das Ganze noch spezieller machen, denke ich. Und ich denke, wenn man die Möglichkeit hat, so etwas zu tun, dann ist man aufgeregt.“
