2025 NFL Draft: Quinshon Judkins missed the Browns call to pick him because he was in the bathroom

Getty Images The Cleveland Browns controlled the top of the board on Friday night in the 2025 NFL Draft, as they had two of the first four picks in the second round. Given their need at quarterback, there was plenty of conversation connecting them with Shedeur Sanders, but they were focused on filling out their roster with talent elsewhere. With the 33rd overall pick, they took UCLA linebacker Carson Schwesinger and then followed that up by selecting Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins at No. 36 overall. Judkins, who started his career at Ole Miss before joining the Buckeyes last year for their national championship run, was considered one of the two best backs left on the board alongside his teammate Treyveon Henderson, and will make the short drive from Columbus to Cleveland to begin his career. However, Judkins was the last […]

How far will Shedeur Sanders fall in NFL Draft? Colorado QB slips into Round 3; Saints take Tyler Shough

Getty Images Shedeur Sanders may believe he's the best quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft class, but NFL teams apparently feel otherwise. After going unselected in the first round on Thursday night, Sanders was also completely overlooked in Round 2, when Louisville's Tyler Shough became the next quarterback to come off the board, sliding all the way into the third round. His dramatic tumble comes hours after CBS Sports NFL insider Jonathan Jones indicated there wasn't necessarily a strong market for the Colorado signal-caller at the top of Round 2, despite several quarterback-needy teams like the Cleveland Browns owning picks to kick off Day 2. Sanders has drawn some critiques for his on-field skill set, with some scouts questioning whether he has enough high-level athleticism and upside to be a difference-maker on the NFL stage. A large amount of the public […]

Denver Broncos draft R.J. Harvey: Sean Payton can work wonders with the explosive future playmaker

Getty Images The Denver Broncos selected UCF running back R.J. Harvey with the No. 60 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sean Payton, whose history with the Saints includes multiple top-12 Fantasy Football finishes at the running back position year after year and breakout RB1s like Alvin Kamara, has now found himself a No. 1 option at the position. Harvey joins a backfield that features last year's Day 3 draft pick Audric Estime and Jaleel McLaughlin as his main competition for touches on a rising offense featuring second-year quarterback Bo Nix. Estime came on strong in the end and will have a specific role for Payton and the Broncos in 2025. It's more difficult to project McLaughlin's role. Harvey is a more explosive version of McLaughlin who can play in the pass game but also run between the tackles. It's […]
