Milton Neves subiu o tom contra a defesa do Corinthians, em texto publicado no UOL Esporte, após o revés do alvinegro frente ao Huracán, em Itaquera, pela Sul-Americana, definindo o setor como o “vilão”.
Apesar de pontuar que o meio-campo alvinegro esteve longe de empolgar, o comentarista questionou a insegurança dos defensores, e alfinetou ao questionar como o Palmeiras, com ataque badalado, não conseguiu transpassar o rival em 180 minutos na final do Paulistão.
“Huracán mostra ao Palmeiras como é fácil marcar gol no Corinthians”, alfinetou Milton Neves, no título do texto opinativo.
“A pergunta que não quer calar é: como o milionário ataque do Palmeiras, em dois jogos, não conseguiu marcar sequer um golzinho na insegura zaga corintiana?”, questionou o comentarista.
“Acontece que o time argentino passou longe de ser brilhante em Itaquera. Mas conseguiu marcar dois gols com extrema facilidade, garantindo assim importantíssima vitória fora de casa, que pode e deve ser determinante para a classificação para a próxima fase do torneio da Conmebol”, completou.

Na atual temporada, o Corinthians chegou ao 22º jogo e o sistema defensivo já foi vazado em 23 oportunidades, acumulando assim uma média acima de um tento por partida. Este foi o sexto jogo de Matheus Donelli como titular no ano. O arqueiro foi vazado oito vezes.
Por conta da lesão de Hugo Souza, o jovem deve permanecer defendendo a meta alvinegra nas próximas semanas, uma vez que titular tem previsão de retorno somente em maio.
Fim da invencibilidade
Com o resultado negativo frente ao Huracán, o Corinthians viu cair por terra uma sequência invicta que já perdurava desde agosto do ano passado, quando caiu para o Red Bull Bragantino. Desde então, foram 23 jogos sem perder no estádio.
O próximo desafio do alvinegro será no final de semana frente ao Vasco, tendo a Neo Química Arena como palco, em choque da 2ª rodada do Brasileirão. Pela competição continental, o alvinegro volta a campo no dia 8 de abril, frente ao América de Cali, em solo colombiano, com a missão de recuperar pontos perdidos.
