Bledá se naposledy v akci představila 17. června 2023, kdy si zároveň připsala premiérový úspěch v nejprestižnější bojové lize světa, když na body porazila Brazilku Gabriellu Fernandesovou a dala zapomenout na zatím jedinou porážku. V roce 2022 totiž po drtivém kopu nestačila na Jihoameričanku Natalii Silvaovou.
S odstupem dvou let je tu třetí zápas v UFC. České bojovnici se tak může ulevit. O zápas totiž nedávno orodovala i přes sociální sítě, kde označila hlavního matchmakera Mitche Maynarda s tím, že je připravena vyrazit do boje. Bledá tak dala zapomenout na sérii zdravotních problémů, které jí například znemožnily vyrazit do bojiště loni v srpnu, kdy se v Austrálii konal galavečer UFC 305.
„Trochu se prala se zraněními. Když se vrátila do přípravy, tak se jí stal menší úraz na kempu v Polsku. Od té doby maká, hodně zapracovala na postoji a myslím si, že začíná být v dobré formě,“ povídal na začátku roku její kouč André Reinders, jenž si rovněž přál, aby jeho svěřenkyně co nejdříve znovu okusila bojový adrenalin.
Vše tak spěje k souboji v Atlantě, kam se zámořský gigant vydá již 14. června. Bledou zde přivítá pětatřicetiletá Kanaďanka Jamey-Lyn Horthová, jež má na kontě 7 výher a 2 porážky. O dvanáct let mladší česká protivnice má v tomto ohledu stejný počet triumfů a o jeden nezdar méně. Pro rodačku ze Squamishe se bude jednat o páté vystoupení v UFC (bilance 2-2).
Je tu ale jedna nepříjemnost. Bledá vyrazí do akce ve stejný den jako krajan a parťák ze stejného gymu Karlos Vémola, další Reindersův svěřenec. Ten si to 14. června na fotbalovém stadionu v pražském Edenu potřetí rozdá se slovenským bijcem Attilou Véghem, s nímž to má aktuálně nerozhodně. Reinders se tak musí rozhodnout, zda vyrazí do Spojených států, nebo zůstane na domácí půdě.
