Grave lesión de Queralt Casas a seis días de la Final Six de la Euroliga

Queralt Casas protagonizó el momento más dramático en el Valencia Basket – Cadí La Seu de la Liga Femenina Endesa. En un balón dividido por el que luchaba la capitana del ValenciaCoulibaly cayó con todo su peso sobre su brazo izquierdo que salió muy mal parado.

Casas, que casi se desmaya por el dolor, tuvo que ser ayudada a salir de la pista por sus compañeras, Raquel Carrera y Alicia Flórez, tal y como informa Súper Deporte. El partido quedó parado durante muchos minutos pero, para la mayoría de los aficionados en el pabellón (y también para las jugadoras) ya se había acabado. Habían vivido el drama de Queralt Casas que, a falta de pruebas y confirmación, podría sufrir la fractura del brazo y la afectación a la muñeca.

La jugada, que se produjo a 2:50 para el final del tercer cuarto, supone un palo muy duro para la veterana jugadora (32 años) y para las aspiraciones del Valencia en la Final Six de la Euroliga Femenina que comenzará en seis días (9 de abril) en Zaragoza.

En realidad el Valencia, ya clasificado para las semifinales, no tendrá que jugar hasta el 11 ante el ganador del partido Mersin – Tango Bourges. Ahora tendrá que afrontar su mayor objetivo de la temporada sin una de las jugadoras básicas en el equipo que entrena Rubén Burgos. El partido, por cierto, lo ganó el Valencia al Cadí La Seu, 93-50.
