Les restan aún cinco encuentros de temporada regular y tienen un calendario de lo más asequible ante algunos rivales que están en el fondo de la clasificación y sin opciones de nada desde hace meses: Wizards, Knicks, Magic y dos partidos finales ante los Hornets.
Derrick White, que frente a los Suns hizo 4/8 desde el arco, es el máximo triplista de los Celtics esta temporada con 253 aciertos en 663 intentos (38%). Le siguen Jayson Tatum con 243 y el mencionado Pritchard, con 242. El equipo anota 17,8 triples por encuentro en 48,3 intentos, lo que ofrece un 36,8% de acierto.
En la victioria ante los Suns, Jaylen Brown y Jayson Tatum fueron los mejores anotadores. El primero hizo 31 puntos (3/4 en triples) y el segundo sumó 23 (1/8 desde el perímetro). White sumó cuatro de los 14 aciertos de tres puntos. Por los deprimentes Suns, sin el lesionado Kevin Durant, el mejor fue Devin Booker que anotó 37 puntos. Los de Phoenix, con su quinta derrota seguida, siguen complicándose su presencia en el play-in.
