Das kam nicht gut an – Was eine Klopp-Rede mit dem Rose-Aus zu tun hatte

Am frühen Montagmorgen vergangene Woche, rund 24 Stunden nach seiner Entlassung, fuhr Marco Rose (48) noch mal an seiner alten Arbeitsstätte vor. Der Ex-Leipzig-Trainer lief durch alle Abteilungen, verabschiedete sich von den RB-Mitarbeitern mit den Worten, „sie sollen alle auf sich aufpassen“.

Dass Rose ein guter Mensch ist, der als geborener Leipziger und Fan-Liebling bestens zum Klub gepasst hat, darin sind sich alle einig. Als Trainer jedoch war er nach zweieinhalb Jahren am Ende und musste trotz seines Vertrages bis 2026 nach dem 0:1 in Gladbach vorzeitig gehen. Für ihn übernimmt interimsmäßig bis Sommer Zsolt Löw (45).

SPORT BILD erklärt, warum Rose wirklich scheiterte.

[–>► Keine sportliche Weiterentwicklung! Der gute Saisonstart (Platz 2 am 10. Spieltag) täuschte, weil die Spiele größtenteils durch individuelle Qualität gewonnen wurden. Mannschaftstaktisch jedoch war bis zuletzt kaum Entwicklung sichtbar. Der passive und torarme Fußball gefiel den Bossen überhaupt nicht. Sie wollen Spektakel sehen. Als Ausrede dienten Durchhalteparolen: Erst hoffte man auf weniger Verletzte, dann auf mehr Trainingszeit. Zuletzt sagte Rose, er hätte für die Spannung gerne lieber wieder eine Englische Woche gehabt. Die Entwicklung vieler junger Spieler, die für Geldgeber Red Bull auch eine Wertanlage sind, stagnierte. Kein Spieler ist wirklich besser geworden. Junge Talente seien nicht wirklich gefördert worden. Gerade ist El Chadaille Bitshiabu (19) gesetzt, dafür ist Castello Lukeba (22) außen vor.

► Unglückliche Außendarstellung! Rose habe nicht mehr wirklich Energie ausgestrahlt, heißt es aus dem Klub. Man habe nun einen neuen Impuls, eine neue Ansprache gebraucht. Doch auch zuvor waren die Bosse unzufrieden mit seinem Auftreten. Bei Themen, die Red Bull wichtig sind, äußerte sich Rose oft unvorteilhaft. Dass die Schiedsrichter VAR-Eingriffe neuerdings über das Stadion-Mikro erklären, ist für Rose nur der „neueste Scheiß aus Amerika“. Auch bei der USA-Reise im vergangenen Jahr hätte man sich mehr Leidenschaft gewünscht.

In Leipzig wurde ihm nachgesagt, was schon bei seinen früheren Stationen Gladbach und Dortmund der Fall war: Rose sei stur und dickköpfig, stehe sich dadurch selbst im Weg. Nach SPORT BILD-Info soll der Klub im Winter über einen weiteren Co-Trainer als neuen Impuls nachgedacht haben. Rose soll das aber abgelehnt haben.

Interessant auch: Am Mittwoch vor dem Gladbach-­Spiel hatte nach SPORT BILD-Informationen Jürgen Klopp (57) als „Head of Global Soccer“ zur Mannschaft in Leipzig gesprochen. Um sich vorzustellen und sie auf den Saisonendspurt einzuschwören. Doch dann, anders als besprochen, musste anschließend auch noch Rose das Wort ergreifen. Das hätte es gar nicht noch gebraucht, Klopps Worte sollten nachhallen. Doch auch Rose forderte seinen Raum ein. Eine Aktion, die bei sehr vielen im Klub nicht gut angekommen sein soll …

► Baustelle Kader! Auch die Mannschaft, immerhin die drittwertvollste der Liga nach Bayern und Leverkusen, ist nach dem Trainerwechsel jetzt in der Pflicht. Dafür, dass Rose so eine enge Bindung zu seinen Spielern gehabt haben soll, ließen ihn viele ganz schön hängen.

Dazu gibt es viele Schwachstellen: Großen Konkurrenzkampf gab es durch den schmalen Kader, den Rose im August mit abgesegnet hat, nicht. Ein Problem in der zu flachen Team-Hierarchie: Xavi Simons (21), der von ganz großen Klubs träumt, bleibt ein Schatten und fällt mehr durch schlechte Körpersprache auf. Der Weggang von Dani Olmo (26/Barcelona) konnte spielerisch nicht kompensiert werden. Auch Emil Forsberg (33/New York) fehlt in der Kabine als Führungsspieler.

In den nächsten drei Transferperioden soll der Kader deshalb umstrukturiert werden und die Mannschaft eine neue Achse bekommen.
