Also doch! Der FC Bayern hat mehr als nur ein Auge auf Wunderstürmer Lukas Podolski (19) geworfen. Das Interesse an Kölns Prinz Poldi ist jetzt offiziell!
Heraus kam es durch einen Zufall. Podolski-Berater Konrad Schramm und dessen Geschäftspartner Norbert Pflippen wurden diese Woche beim Bayern-Training gesichtet. Im Kabinen-Trakt hat Pflippen dann Schramm Bayern-Trainer Magath vorgestellt.
BILD fragte Bayern-Manager Uli Hoeneß: Hat Bayern schon einen Vorvertrag mit Poldi?
Darauf Hoeneß: „Die hatten einen Termin bei 1860, sind auch bei uns vorbeigekommen. Das mit dem Vorvertrag stimmt so nicht, aber Tatsache ist: Wir haben Interesse an Lukas. Wir wollen ihn ab 2007 holen.“
Der genannte Zeitrahmen ist das erste klare Wort. Aber sicher nicht das Letzte… Köln weiß jedenfalls, dass Bayern jetzt ernst macht!
[–>Das Vorhaben der Kölner, mit ihrem Torjäger (Vertrag bis 2007) vorzeitig bis 2010 zu verlängern, hat sich damit schon erledigt. Bleiben noch die Beteuerungen von FC-Boss Wolfgang Overath: „Poldi ist unverkäuflich, da kann kommen wer will.“
Doch es gibt Schlupflöcher für einen möglichen Wechsel bereits vor 2007: Köln verpasst noch den Aufstieg – oder müsste nach nur einer Bundesliga-Saison 2006 schon wieder absteigen. Dann wäre Podolski vom FC nicht zu halten…
