O Bepe havia alegado riscos à segurança interna e externa para negar a realização da partida no estádio após ofício do Vasco. “A decisão se deu com base nas análises estratégicas da unidade que apontam riscos à segurança no perímetro e no interior da praça esportiva em jogos desta natureza”, diz trecho da nota emitida pelo batalhão da Polícia Militar.
Agora, a decisão cabe ao Vasco. O Clássico dos Milhões é válido pela quinta rodada e está marcado para o dia 19 de abril.
