LSU gymnast and social media star Olivia Dunne is used to turning heads-but her latest GQ photoshoot with boyfriend Paul Skenes sent the internet into full-on roast mode. From shady Reddit threads to fashion critiques sharper than a leotard wedgie, the haters came out swinging. But Dunne? She didn’t flinch.
Instead of firing back with words, Livvy let her TikTok game do the talking. In a recent video that’s already racked up tens of thousands of likes, Dunne is seen lying on a couch, wide-eyed and smirking as the text reads, “the internet after seeing me and Paul’s GQ photoshoot.”
Her caption? A simple but cheeky: “I like them .” Classic Dunne-playful, unbothered, and 100% in control of the narrative.
The GQ spread, which dropped in April 2025, featured the NCAA power couple in a series of sleek shots-Olivia perched on a piano, lounging on Skenes’ lap, and even posing poolside in a swimsuit.
Their dog, Roux, even made an appearance. Dunne posted all six photos on Instagram herself, clearly proud of the high-fashion moment. But while fans swooned, critics were quick to pounce.
Haters are gonna hate
On Reddit, a thread titled “Let’s talk about Livvy Dunne’s tacky GQ photoshoot w Paul Skenes“ blew up. “Not one good outfit in sight,” one commenter ranted, while another sniped, “Skenes looks like he hates her or does not want to be there.”
Others accused the shoot of looking “staged” and “awkward,” even claiming it was more about hyping up the MLB pitcher than spotlighting Dunne.
Some took aim at Olivia’s fashion choices in general, labeling her TikTok style “basic and/or bad.” And of course, the classic accusation reappeared: that she’s focusing more on modeling than her athletic career.
Livvy doesn’t let anyone stop her
But the LSU star didn’t waste a second defending herself. Her silent-but-deadly TikTok response made one thing crystal clear: she’s not here for the drama-she’s too busy living her best life.
