Mañana arrancan los cuartos de final de la Liga de Campeones y yo entiendo que todos los aficionados al fútbol, concretamente los aficionados del Real Madrid, tengan ciertas dudas con el rendimiento que puede ofrecer su equipo en el partido contra el Arsenal.

No es la temporada en la que mejor está jugando el Real Madrid ni de lejos. Creo que se pueden contar con los dedos de una mano los grandes partidos que ha hecho el Real Madrid este año a nivel de juego. En la mayor parte de las ocasiones en las que se ha enfrentado a rivales de enjundia normalmente no ha salido victorioso y creo que las sensaciones que ofrece el equipo normalmente suelen ser malas, más que buenas.

Incluso con pinchazos que de momento le alejan un poquito de la pelea por LaLiga, aunque es verdad que le mantienen en la Copa y en la Liga de Campeones. Está siendo un poco extraña la temporada de Vinicius Junior, para mí desde que eclosionó con Carlo Ancelotti vive su peor momento como futbolista del equipo madridista.

Creo que ponerlo en duda es uno infravalorar mucho a Vinicius, porque este es el mejor Vinicius que que podemos ver en el mundo del fútbol, y al propio Real Madrid.

Probablemente también esté echando en falta a una figura tan importante como es la de Dani Ceballos, que ahora mismo es fundamental porque no se repuso la que se fue en el pasado mes de junio, que fue Toni Kroos. Llegó al Real Madrid con una losa detrás que era su precio y su juventud, se repuso de ello y se convirtió en uno de los mejores jugadores del mundo. Copó prácticamente todos los premios individuales, salvo el Balón de Oro.

Es un futbolista que cada vez que hay un partido importante lo normal es que aparezca, ha aparecido en semifinales de Champions, en cuartos de Champions y que ha marcado en las dos finales de Liga de Campeones que ha jugado. Sin ir más lejos la temporada pasada hizo un partido espectacular contra el Bayern de Múnich, la mejor exhibición de esta campaña de un jugador del Real Madrid que se fraguó contra el Borussia Dortmund fue del propio Vinicius. Seguramente no está en su mejor momento pero creo que si hay alguien en el que se puede aferrar el madridismo en el partido contra el Arsenal es Vinicius.
