Beim FC Barcelona herrscht mal wieder Alarmstufe Rot. Denn der Streit zwischen den Katalanen und der spanischen Liga um Dani Olmo (26) geht in die nächste Runde.

Erst vor ein paar Wochen hatte das oberste Sportgericht Spaniens (CSD) dem FC Barcelona grünes Licht gegeben, Dani Olmo und Nachwuchsstürmer Pau Víctor (23) einzusetzen. Doch jetzt legt La Liga nach – und will die Spielgenehmigung für beide Profis doch noch kippen.
Die Liga hat offiziell Beschwerde eingelegt und fordert dringende Maßnahmen, um Olmo und Víctor bis auf Weiteres aus dem Spielbetrieb auszuschließen.
[–>Hintergrund des Streits sind die anhaltenden Finanzprobleme der Katalanen. Barça hatte Schwierigkeiten, rechtzeitig die wirtschaftlichen Voraussetzungen für die Registrierung der Spieler zu erfüllen. Der Durchbruch kam erst durch den Verkauf von VIP-Logen im renovierten Camp Nou – für 100 Millionen Euro an einen arabischen Investor.
Die Liga argumentiert jedoch weiterhin: Das Geld kam zu spät!
La Liga sieht durch die nachträgliche Genehmigung der Spieler einen „schwerwiegenden Verstoß gegen den Regelungsrahmen in Bezug auf die wirtschaftliche Kontrolle und die Gewährung von Sportlizenzen dar“ und warnt vor Wettbewerbsverzerrung.
Besonders bitter: Sollte Olmos Lizenz tatsächlich annulliert werden, droht ein finanzielles Desaster. Der Ex-Leipziger unterschrieb im Sommer 2024 einen Vertrag bis 2030 mit einem Gehaltsvolumen von rund 55 Millionen Euro – komplett garantiert. Ein ablösefreier Abgang bei weiterlaufender Gehaltszahlung könnte Barça am Ende über 260 Millionen Euro kosten.
Flick muss also weiter zittern und ein Ende des Dramas ist nicht in Sicht.
