Von allen wichtigen Sendern war Moderatorin Laura Wontorra (36) umworben. Ihre Verträge mit DAZN und RTL laufen im Sommer aus. Die TV-Branche wartete auf die Entscheidung, wo Wontorra ab der nächsten Fußball-Saison im Einsatz sein wird – denn viele andere Vertragsgespräche mit TV-Gesichtern hängen davon ab, was die Moderatorin macht.

[–>Jetzt steht fest: Wontorra verlängert bei DAZN! Mit der Streaming-Plattform einigte sich die gebürtige Bremerin auf eine weitere Zusammenarbeit für mindestens zwei Jahre bis 2027.
Sie wird im Fußball bei den Highlights zum Einsatz kommen: Champions League, Bundesliga-Einzelspielen am Sonntag sowie neu ab der nächsten Saison der Bundesliga-Konferenz am Samstag.
Eine familiäre Parallele: Ihr Vater Jörg moderierte am 12. August 2000 die erste Konferenz überhaupt für Premiere World (heute Sky). Jetzt führt Tochter Laura durch die Institution, die sich DAZN bei der Rechtevergabe der Bundesliga sicherte. Dort wird Wontorra, die seit 2021 bei der Plattform ist, in der Regel mit Experte Sami Khedira (37) auftreten.

Zu den Gründen für ihre Vertragsverlängerung sagt sie im SPORT BILD-Interview (erscheint am Mittwoch): „Das Allerwichtigste ist, dass mir die Zusammenarbeit einfach großen Spaß macht. Hinzu kommt, dass bei DAZN die Champions League zu Hause ist und mit der Samstagskonferenz jetzt eine wirklich tolle weitere Aufgabe für mich hinzukommt. Dass Michael Ballack und Sami Khedira ebenfalls DAZN erhalten bleiben, war für meine Entscheidungsfindung ebenfalls ein wichtiger Punkt.“ Die beiden Experten hatten bereits ihre Verträge verlängert.
„Wir sind super happy und stolz, dass Laura weiter Teil unseres großartigen Teams bleibt“, sagt DAZN-Programmchef Michael Bracher. „Sie ist eines der bekanntesten TV-Gesichter in Deutschland, bringt herausragende Expertise und Moderationsfähigkeiten mit, die sie bei DAZN Woche für Woche unter Beweis stellt.
