Prince Harry was escorted out of a London High Court hearing on Wednesday following an unexpected outburst from one of his supporters.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, was in the midst of a legal battle over his request for taxpayer-funded security when the incident occurred. A woman in her 50s, who had arrived late to the courtroom, caused a disruption by shouting in defense of the royal.

The woman’s late arrival quickly attracted attention, as she fidgeted in her seat and made noise with her phones and notebook.
Prince Harry’s longtime head of security, David Langdown, was seen closely monitoring her actions, anticipating any escalation. Her disruptive behavior reached its peak when, as Harry was escorted by his bodyguards, she shouted, “I support you, Prince Harry,” and further added, “If you’re members of the press, you’re the reason he’s not in England.”
The situation prompted security personnel to remove both the woman and the prince from the courtroom to restore order. While Harry was escorted out, the woman was swiftly led away, and the hearing proceeded in private.
This dramatic moment highlights the tension surrounding Harry’s ongoing legal struggles and his desire to regain the security protection he had lost following his departure from royal duties.
Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have been fighting for a return to taxpayer-funded protection after stepping back from their senior roles within the royal family.
During this week’s court proceedings, Harry’s legal team argued that the decision to strip them of security was made without a formal process or proper documentation. They claimed that Harry was unfairly treated compared to others in similar positions.
