Nesta terça-feira (8), o São Paulo apresentará o seu balanço financeiro da temporada 2024, com os números referentes aos gastos e receitas do último ano. E a situação do SPFC nestes termos não tem sido nada boa, no que coloca o Uol Esporte.
Déficit e dívida
Segundo informações do portal, o Tricolor registrou em 2024 déficit de R$ 287 milhões em suas contas. O prejuízo indica também o aumento da dívida são-paulina, que está chegando perto da casa do bilhão. O valor do débito ao todo é cerca de R$ 968 milhões.
Muito disso se dá pelo fato de que o clube não conseguiu bater as metas com vendas de jogadores. A previsão da diretoria do SPFC é de o clube arrecadasse algo em torno de R$ 170 milhões com negociações, mas as receitas geradas foram bem abaixo do esperado, de apenas R$ 89 milhões, por conta da ausência de grandes vendas.
Vendas que não aconteceram
Dois jogadores (Rodrigo Nestor e Pablo Maia) seriam os principais cotados para serem negociados e geraram a renda necessária para um potencial superávit. Mas tais negociações não ocorreram durante 2024, ano em que ambos tiveram que lidar com lesões. Nesta temporada, Nestor foi negociado com o Bahia, mas por empréstimo com opção de compra.
Ao todo, as receitas do São Paulo com o futebol foram de R$ 528 milhões, valor este que não conseguiu fazer com que todas as despesas fossem ‘suplantadas’, causando assim o déficit e o aumento da dívida, colocando mais uma vez o Tricolor em situação complicada em suas finanças.
