Während der Ex-Leverkusen-Stürmer (2015 bis 2017) früher mit kurzen, dunklen Haare aufgelaufen ist, ist er jetzt komplett kahl.

Chicharito ist mit 52 Toren in 109 Partien Rekordtorschütze der mexikanischen Nationalmannschaft. In Europa hat er für Manchester United (2010 bis 2015), Real Madrid (2014 bis 2015), Bayer 04 Leverkusen, West Ham United (2017 bis 2019) und für FC Sevilla (2019 bis 2020) gespielt. Im Januar 2020 zog es ihn zu Los Angeles Galaxy nach Amerika.

Für Leverkusen hat der Mexikaner in 76 Pflichtspielen 39 Tore erzielt (9 Assists). In seiner Debüt-Saison für die Werkself (2015/16) landete Chicharito in der Bundesliga-Torjägerliste auf Platz 4 (17 Tore).

In seiner Karriere gewann die Mexiko-Legende zweimal die Premier League (2011 und 2013), dazu stand er 2011 mit Man United im Champions-League-Finale (1:3 gegen Barcelona). Mit Real Madrid gewann er 2014 die Klub-WM. 2020 feierte er mit Sevila den Europa-League-Sieg.

Seit 2024 läuft der Stürmer wieder in Guadalajara auf. Dort, wo er geboren wurde und seine Fußball-Karriere begann. In der aktuellen Spielzeit kommt er auf 2 Tore und ein Assist in 21 Pflichtspielen.

Beim Duell in der mexikanischen Liga am Sonntag kam es für Chicharito zu einem Wiedersehen mit einem alten Bekannten. Von 2014 bis 2015 spielte er zusammen mit Sergio Ramos (39) bei Real. Der Spanier war bis zuletzt noch vereinslos, ist im Februar 2025 zu Monterrey gewechselt. Beim Duell der beiden Ex-Königlichen konnte Ramos mit seiner Mannschaft am Ende jubeln (3:1).
