The tension between Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees is rising fast and it’s no longer about just a messy breakup or a cryptic lyric. What started as subtle distance has turned into public shade, emotional Instagram posts, and accusations flying like confetti in a group chat gone wild.
While fans initially speculated that things had cooled off between the two after Jacquees’ latest musical venture, it turns out the real issue cuts far deeper than industry moves.
The drama started gaining serious traction after the release of F- a Friend Zone 2, his collaborative album with DeJ Loaf. Though the project raised a few eyebrows with its provocative title, what really caught people’s attention was Deiondra’s sudden disappearance from Jacquees’ side.
It didn’t take long before she responded to the rumors online. On X, Deiondra clarified her absence by tweeting: “Stop asking me why I’m not around. I’m not allowed to be around them.”
Jacquees shares a sweet dad moment – but Deiondra’s side says otherwise
Just one day after Deiondra‘s tweet, Jacquees seemingly attempted to steer the narrative in a different direction. On April 9, he dropped a sentimental Instagram carousel, full of warm daddy-son moments with Baby Snow, their eight-month-old son.
“My son is 8 months today! Thank you Jesus and he is the funniest baby on earth I promise you all he do is laugh and play! He’s so smart! Love you Son! 8 months down a lifetime to go!!! #Snow #BabyQue #SnowMan I truly adore you kid,” the caption read.
And while Jacquees was busy showing off his proud dad side on Instagram, Deiondra had no intentions of letting the narrative slide quietly.
The next day, on April 8, she took to X again-this time not just to speak her truth, but to expose what she says is a serious issue on Jacquees’ family’s end: “It’s really sad to see family choose to NOT spend time with their grandson or nephew based off the hate for their mother. I’m so thankful for the family I have. I love Snow so much and will always protect him.”
While her side of the family, including her mother Carolyne Chambers, brother Bucky, and proud grandfather Deion Sanders, have openly embraced Baby Snow, Deiondra is suggesting that Jacquees’ family is turning a cold shoulder-all because of how they feel about her.
