André Rizek parabenizou a torcida do Vasco por sua dedicação e presença constante nos jogos, mesmo não vivendo momentos bons. Nestes últimos anos, os vascaínos deram um exemplo de fidelidade ao time mesmo em um perídoo de seca de títulos.
Na avaliação do jornalista, o torcedor do Gigante da Colina em hipótese alguma pode ser ‘cobrado’ e é ele o responsável por mantê-lo vivo.
“Se tem um torcedor que não pode ser cobrado hoje no Brasil, é o do Vasco. Se tem um torcedor que sofre, empurra e mantém viva a grandeza do clube, é do Vasco. Está encarando times muito ruins, abaixo do que merece e estão sempre lá”, disse Rizek.
Da mesma forma que empurra, ele também cobra. Assim foi na última terça-feira, em São Januário, na vitória magra sobre o Puerto Cabello, pela Copa Sul-Americana. Além dos atletas, menos o artilheiro Vegetti, o técnico Fábio Carille foi bastante criticado.
Na entrevista coletiva, Carille reclamou da postura dos vascaínos e que as críticas “estão passando para o campo”, prejudicando assim os jogadores.
“Sobre o torcedor, o Vasco precisa muito do torcedor. O Vasco. Então eu vejo que, quando me xingam ou xingam algum atleta, isso passa para o campo e isso não está ajudando em nada. Depois do jogo, fica à vontade. O torcedor tem todo direito, mas eles têm que entender que não está ajudando“, disse.
A declaração do treinador não foi bem digerida e ele passou a ser atacado nas redes sociais. Por ora, não há nenhum movimento interno pela troca da comissão técnica.

O Vasco volta a campo no sábado (12), contra o Sport, às 21h (de Brasília), no estádio de São Januário, no Rio de Janeiro, pela terceira rodada do Brasileirão. Com três pontos conquistados, o Gigante da Colina é o 11º colocado.
