This year’s Draft quarterback class has been heavily questioned. Last year, quarterbacks clearly stole the spotlight: Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Michael Penix Jr., and Bo Nix all showed great things in their first season-some more than others. However, this class seems to be quite the opposite.
Perhaps the need to find a franchise-changing quarterback has given added value to Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, who are considered the top quarterback prospects in this Draft. Still, there are a lot of doubts surrounding this group of players. For now, Ward is expected to be picked by the Titans, while Shedeur remains a mystery.

Will Howard from Ohio State is considered the best quarterback in the class
Howard is the current national champion with Ohio State and is eligible for this Draft. His name hasn’t gotten as much attention as Ward, Sanders, Jaxson Dart, or Jalen Milroe. So now, Will Howard has sent a clear message to all the scouts who’ve overlooked him in these Draft discussions.
“I believe I’m the best quarterback in this class,” Howard told ESPN. “I think there’s unbelievable talent. But if you’re going to be a competitor, at the end of the day, you have to have that belief in yourself, and I think that’s what helps me get through those adverse times. S— happens. You’ve got to be able to deal with it, and it’s the mentally tough people that are able to overcome those things. I think in my career I’ve just had to do that over and over again, and I’ve realized it’s a never-ending cycle.”
Howard is clearly hyping himself up, but one thing is for sure: he’s a winner, and he already proved that with Ohio State. At 23 years old, he was the starting quarterback in 27 games with Kansas State before transferring to Ohio State, where he started all 16 games.
The quarterback led Ohio to a national championship and finished his college career with 83 passing touchdowns and 26 rushing touchdowns. He’s even been compared to the current NFL MVP, Josh Allen.
