Fans of ‘Harry Potter’ have received some sad news this Sunday. Actor Nick Moran has had to undergo emergency surgery after suffering a spinal cord injury that left him fearing for his life. Those close to him have tried to reassure everyone, but Moran is still in hospital and waiting to see how the treatment works.
His friend Terry Stone was one of the first to comment on the actor’s condition. “I spoke to one of his family members and he somehow damaged his neck, and it’s affecting his spinal cord and some of the things that operate his speech and his legs,” he told the Daily Mail.

According to his friend, the actor’s girlfriend warned him on several occasions that he had to go for a check-up, although Nick always downplayed the matter. On one of the visits to the hospital, the doctors warned him that he had to be operated on urgently because the danger of his problem was greater than expected by everyone.
Doctors replaced four neck bones with four artificial ones
“He not been in the best of health, but when he came out of the operation I thought ‘thank God’ because I think he had decided that he would rather not walk or talk than die,” Terry Stone said. His friend’s testimony shows that the doctors were really worried about the actor’s immediate future. Luckily, it seems that the recovery will be easier and everything went well with the operation.
The team that operated on him had to remove up to four bones from the actor’s neck and replace them with four artificial bones. For now, it seems that his body’s response has been satisfactory. “He talks now, which is a good sign, but he moves like he’s 100 years old, he’s wearing a neck brace and he’s taking it easy,” Stone said of his current condition.
