Felipe Melo voltou a rasgar elogios ao potencial do jovem Vitor Roque, atacante do Palmeiras, pela exibição no clássico contra o Corinthians, válido pelo Brasileirão, neste final de semana. Durante comentário no “Fechamento”, do sportv, o Pitbull elencou o camisa 9 como o melhor da rodada.
Enquanto a maioria dos participação da atração se dividiu entre Vegetti e Arrascaeta, que marcaram dois gols cada, ele foi na ‘contramão’ e enalteceu o jogador alviverde, que ainda não foi às redes de forma validada.
“O Vitor Roque deu outra dinâmica para o ataque do Palmeiras. Neste jogo contra o Corinthians foi um cara que fez de tudo, inclusive teve o gol anulado. Saiu aplaudido, nos braços da torcida, e você sair aplaudido pela torcida do Palmeiras é porque, de fato, é porque fez muito”, disse Felipe Melo.
“Ele roubou bola, criou oportunidades de gols, muitas vezes veio na lateral-esquerda para roubar bola. O Vitor Roque foi decisivo mesmo sem fazer gols, uma peça muito importante, e eu não tenho dúvidas de quando começar a fazer gols vai deslanchar”, complementou o ex-jogador.

Desde que desembarcou no Palmeiras, Vitor Roque computa oito jogos realizados, com 426 minutos em campo. O camisa 9, no entanto, ainda não balançou as redes adversárias em tentos que foram validados.
Contra o Timão, ele chegou a marcar na segunda etapa, mas o gol foi cancelado, após verificação no VAR, por conta de impedimento na origem da jogada. A próxima oportunidade que o atacante terá para quebrar o incômodo jejum será nesta quarta (16), diante do Internacional, no Beira-Rio.
