Kann Bayern noch vom „Finale Dahoam“ träumen?
Der FC Bayern steht im Viertelfinale der Champions League unter Zugzwang. Nach der 1:2-Niederlage im Hinspiel gegen Inter Mailand ist am Mittwochabend ein Sieg Pflicht – sonst ist der Traum vom Halbfinale und vom möglichen „Finale Dahoam“ im eigenen Stadion ausgeträumt. Trotz der Niederlage im Hinspiel schöpfen die Bayern Mut aus ihrer Leistung. Die Statistiken sprechen für den Rekordmeister: 20:10 Torschüsse, ein Expected-Goals-Wert von 2,3 zu 0,8 und insgesamt 49:18 Strafraumszenen.
Joshua Kimmich (30) sagte selbstbewusst nach dem 2:2 gegen Dortmund in der Bundesliga: „Es ist nicht so, dass wir ein Wunder brauchen. Wir müssen ein Spiel gewinnen. Mit diesem Mindset sollten wir ins Spiel gehen. Jeder in der Kabine ist davon überzeugt, dass wir in Mailand gewinnen können.“
Die leise Hoffnung auf eine Rückkehr von Kapitän Manuel Neuer (39) hat sich zerschlagen. Der 39-Jährige wird aufgrund seines Muskelfaserrisses in der Wade auch im Rückspiel nicht einsatzfähig sein. Damit bleibt Jonas Urbig (21) erneut die Nummer eins.

Auch für Thomas Müller (35) könnte das Spiel in Mailand ein historischer Abend werden. Sollte er wie zuletzt gegen Dortmund erneut mit der Kapitänsbinde von Anfang an auflaufen, wäre es sein 163. Einsatz in der Königsklasse – und damit würde er mit Lionel Messi (37) gleichziehen. Im Hinspiel hatte Müller als Joker getroffen und bewiesen, dass mit ihm in wichtigen Spielen immer zu rechnen ist.
