Cristiano Ronaldo (40) winkt offenbar ein neuer Rekordvertrag bei seinem Klub Al-Nassr! Wie die spanische „Marca“ berichtet, soll der Superstar seinen Vertrag bis 2026 verlängern und dabei sogar eine Klubbeteiligung erhalten. Mit der Option auf eine weitere Saison.
[–>Dabei könnte Ronaldo rund 183 Millionen Euro pro Saison verdienen. Das wäre weniger als die bisherigen 200 Millionen Euro, aber mit einer fünfprozentigen Beteiligung am Klub könnte der Vertrag aus finanzieller Sicht dennoch unschlagbar sein.
Damit ist auch die verrückte Idee vom Tisch, dass Ronaldo im Sommer für die Klub-WM noch mal zurück zu Real Madrid wechseln könnte. Das hatte das Portal „Eldesmarque“ berichtet.
Jetzt bleibt Ronaldo wohl bei Al-Nassr.
2022 wechselte der Portugiese im Winter von Manchester United in die Wüste, unterschrieb damals zunächst für zweieinhalb Jahre. Einnahmen damals: Eine sogenannte Signing Fee in Höhe von 100 Mio. und ein Jahres-Gehalt von insgesamt 200 Mio. Euro. Damals der lukrativste Vertrag der Fußball-Geschichte.

Anfang des Jahres äußerte sich der Europameister von 2016 über ein mögliches Karriereende: „Ich plane meinen Ruhestand und er wird in ein oder zwei Jahren passieren. Ich werde bald 40. Ich möchte das wirklich genießen, solange ich mich motiviert fühle, mache ich weiter. An dem Tag, an dem ich mich nicht mehr motiviert fühle, werde ich zurücktreten.“
Jetzt berichtet die „Marca“ weiter, dass Ronaldo eine Verstärkung des Teams durch Neuzugänge als Bedingung für die Verlängerung gestellt habe.
Kein Wunder: Für CR7 und Al-Nassr läuft es in der saudischen Pro-League bisher nicht rund. Der Klub steht aktuell auf dem dritten Platz und hat neun Punkte Rückstand auf die Spitzenreiter Al-Hilal und FC Ittihad.
Vielleicht bringt eine mögliche Verlängerung des Superstars jetzt ja den nötigen Schwung …

Clay Webb, who is part of an unresolved lawsuit around bullying, signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent. Jacksonville State, where Webb played for the last three seasons, announced the news Saturday night.
