Mit dem FC Liverpool liegt Luis Diaz (28) in der laufenden Premier-League-Saison auf Meisterschafts-Kurs. Bei noch sechs verbleibenden Spielen stehen die „Reds“ an der Tabellenspitze, haben 13 Punkte Vorsprung auf Verfolger Arsenal.

Die zweite Meisterschaft seit 2000 (zuvor lediglich 2020 unter Ex-Coach Jürgen Klopp) scheint der Mannschaft von Trainer Arne Slot (46) nicht mehr zu nehmen. Woran auch Diaz einen großen Anteil hat.
