Telli Swift, the former fiancée of heavyweight boxing champ Deontay Wilder, appears to be moving on both personally and professionally.
The reality star and entrepreneur was recently seen leaving a Los Angeles courthouse hand-in-hand with Los Angeles Rams safety John Johnson III, sparking buzz about a new romance.
The sighting comes as Swift continues a legal dispute with Wilder, with whom she shared nearly a decade-long relationship. Though the timeline of her new relationship with Johnson remains unclear, Swift dropped a subtle hint last December when she posted photos from a Rams game.
Johnson, a seasoned NFL player, was drafted by the Rams in 2017 and played a key role in their 2019 Super Bowl appearance. After a two-year stint with the Cleveland Browns, he returned to Los Angeles in 2023. Ironically, the Rams won the Super Bowl the year after he left, adding a twist to his career journey.
From WAG status to independent success
Swift first rose to fame on WAGS Atlanta, a reality series that highlighted the lives of partners of professional athletes. Although she was initially hesitant to join, she eventually accepted the opportunity after multiple offers.
“It never felt like the right time,” she shared with the New York Post.
“But I finally said yes.”
Since then, Swift has carved her own path. She launched Telli Talks, a podcast originally pitched as a space to discuss life as an athlete’s partner. But Swift reimagined it, turning the show into a platform for conversations with business leaders and entrepreneurs.
“I didn’t want to be boxed into one type of story,” she explained.
Her entrepreneurial ventures also include the fragrance line D’Telli, co-founded with Wilder. The status of his involvement remains unclear due to their current legal conflict. Swift is also the founder of Boxing Wags, a nonprofit organization aimed at empowering women connected to the sport.
Despite ongoing legal battles, Telli Swift seems to be embracing a fresh chapter-balancing love, business, and reinvention on her own terms.
