To set the scene, the latest episode of the Calm Down podcast, hosted by NFL reporters Charissa Thompson and Erin Andrews, featured a special segment where the hosts invited their partners to join them. In a teaser posted on the podcast’s Instagram account, they humorously referred to their partners as the “Plus Ones.” That’s when Travis Kelce chimed in.

Kelce jumped into the comments, writing, “Shoutout to the Plus Ones!”
The term “Plus One” is a playful way to describe the partner who tags along to an event, often seen as less prominent than the main guest. By calling himself Taylor Swift’s “Plus One,” Kelce acknowledges her massive fame and the way she naturally commands attention wherever she goes.
It’s a fun and laid-back perspective on their relationship, which has had its share of ups and downs, as all relationships do. Given their combined star power, it’s no surprise that Kelce and Swift are constantly in the public eye. Yet, they’ve managed to navigate the attention with grace.
