Jake Ferguson proposed to his girlfriend Haley Cavinder on Thursday and a few days later fans got a front-row seat to the love story when the Cavinder Twins shared a deeply personal behind-the-scenes video of the proposal on Instagram. The video, now going viral, begins with Ferguson nervously addressing the camera.
With an endearing dose of honesty, he admits he has no idea how to make a vlog-but was determined to capture this moment for Haley.
“I don’t know how to make a vlog,” Ferguson said, “but I’m doing this for you, Haley.”
Throughout the video, Ferguson shares raw, heartfelt moments in the lead-up to the big day-from sleepless nights to handwritten journal entries. The standout moment is a note written eight days before the proposal, a detail that left viewers emotional.
“It’s the 8 day note entry for me. Love your love, sm,” Sarah Jane Ramos, fiancee of Cowboys QB Dak Prescott, commented on the post.
A beach, a surprise and one perfect moment
As the final act of the vlog unfolds, Ferguson is seen working out with his brother-trying to ease his nerves before heading to the beach where Haley waited, unaware of what was about to happen. In the clip, you can see the excitement radiating off him as he walks toward her with a mix of anticipation and joy.
Then came the moment when Ferguson drops to one knee and proposes. The beachside backdrop, the nervous energy, and Haley’s genuine surprise made for a truly heartwarming scene.
The proposal was captured and posted on the Cavinder Twins‘ shared Instagram page, allowing their 1M+ followers to witness a private moment turned public love letter.
Jake and Haley have been dating since 2023 and celebrated their one-year anniversary in September 2024. Their romance has played out quietly in comparison to the Cavinder Twins’ social media empire, but this engagement gave fans a glimpse into a relationship full of genuine affection, thoughtful planning, and emotional depth.
