Do kin vstoupila Zlatá cesta. Film o neuvěřitelné jízdě hokejových šampiónů z Prahy

Na projekci proto po dopoledním tréninku dorazili loňští mistři světa Jakub Krejčík, Matěj Stránský, Ondřej Beránek, Michal Kempný a Daniel Voženílek, kteří si před projekcí střihli přímo v multikině Cinema City v Ostravě autogramiádu.

Chybět nemohl ani trenér českého národního týmu Radim Rulík: „Panu režisérovi jsem to přislíbil. Ale nechci na sebe nějak strhávat pozornost. Myslím si, že toho bude dost po Brně (od 1. do 4. května hostí České hokejové hry), tam si to užiju měrou vrchovatou.“

Rulík je společně s kapitánem týmu Romanem Červenkou jedním z hlavních protagonistů téměř dvouhodinového dokumentu, který od 24. dubna nabídne divákům dohromady 120 biografů v Česku. Divákům umožňují nahlédnout do zákulisí týmu i do míst, která jsou obvykle veřejnosti zapovězena.

Rulík ve filmu otevřeně mluví o klíčových momentech turnaje i o důležitých rozhodnutích, která tým dovedla až do finálového triumfu nad Švýcarskem. Rozkryje například příčiny nezdaru budoucích mistrů světa na turnaji na loňských Českých hokejových hrách v Brně, kam přijelo sedmatřicet kandidátů na závěrečnou nominaci a kde Češi národ šokovali třemi porážkami od Finska, Švédska a Švýcarska.

Rulík po šampionátu překvapil reakcí, že nezdary byly součástí plánu. „Jak to bylo s porážkami v Brně doopravdy, se lidé ve filmu dozvědí,“ pozval diváky do kina režisér filmu Petr Větrovský.

„Ten turnaj před mistrovstvím se nám tak extrémně nepovedl, že jsme jeli do Prahy se staženými kalhotami,“ řekl na slavnostní premiéře v Ostravě šéf hokejového svazu Alois Hadamczik.

Právě on se o vznik filmu podle režiséra nejvíce zasadil. „Byl duchovním otcem té myšlenky. Miluje hokej a byl tomu nápadu nejvíce otevřený. Šli jsme do toho, přestože jsme nikdo nevěděli, jak ten turnaj dopadne. Ale když není sen, není čin,“ připomněl režisér Větrovský, jenž má za sebou filmy o fotbalistovi Janu Kollerovi, biatlonistce Gabriele Soukalové či slovenském bojovníkovi Attilu Véghovi.

Větrovský přiznal, že jej čeští hokejisté mile překvapili. „Nikdo se nepředváděl, ani před kamerou neutíkal. Brali to jako součást své práce. Jen Roman Červenka si naoko postěžoval, když jsme jej asi počtvrté v mixzóně zastavili, že z toho obrazu nesleze,“ pousmál se Větrovský.

Kamera nechyběla ani při příjezdu hvězdného snajpra z Bostonu Davida Pastrňáka. „Říkal jsem všem, že teď je to natáčení možná otravuje, ale jednou budou hrdí na to, že to vzniklo. Ten film tu bude už navždy. Ale byli skvělí. Nikdo nás nevyhazoval, neodmítl. Trenér Radim Rulík za námi občas i sám chodil a ptal se, zda něco nepotřebujeme,“ popisoval Větrovský.

Rozhovory se všemi aktéry vznikaly přímo na turnaji, nouze proto není o opravdové emoce, ani překvapivé detaily. „Dokument je živý organismus, je to příběh, který píše život. V tom jsou dokumenty krásné. Je to neuvěřitelný příběh, jehož konec nebyl znám. Nikdo z nás neměl tušení, čím to skončí,“ připomněl Větrovský.

Zlatá cesta českých hokejistů započala v květnu 2024 neuznaným gólem v prvním zápase proti Finsku, ve druhém utkání pak Češi prohrávali s Norskem v první třetině už 1:3. Cesta šampionátem rozhodně jako zlatá nezačala, končila ale pohádkově. Titulem mistrů světa, na domácím ledě, po dlouhých devětatřiceti letech od triumfu Čechoslováků v roce 1985.

„Atmosféra v Praze byla elektrizující, až jsem žárlil. Chtěl jsem být na ledě a měl jsem po finále husí kůži. Je jedině dobře, že se povedlo tento film natočit. My jsme v Naganu nic takového neměli a je to obrovská škoda,“ řekl olympijský vítěz z roku 1998 a nyní generální manažer hokejové reprezentace Jiří Šlégr.

Zlatá cesta vstupuje do kin 24. dubna a nabídne nejen hokejovým fanouškům možnost znovu prožít ohromnou euforii. Třeba takovou, jaká po celém Česku propukla po vítězném gólu Davida Pastrňáka ve finále proti Švýcarsku. „Přál bych si, aby i díky tomu našemu úspěchu více dětí našlo cestu k hokeji,“ uzavřel snímek kapitán mistrů světa Roman Červenka.
